I apologize for pretty much leaving DeviantArt. I still load the page once in a while but I haven't contributed in months. I may come back at some point ... hopefully the DeviantArt team will get the speed issues and database problems under control; that would make my year :)
I've started a small community on my website with a forum and such, not really art related but it's been tons of fun and a great learning experience.

I've been up to no good lately ... working on my web site (mostly writing news stories and answering questions) so have been embracing my technical side rather than artistic. I suppose that's good in a way ... gives me an excuse to work on 3D modeling some more ... I have a lot of work to do with Maya yet :)
I've wiped out the Mac screenshots entirely ... it seems like everyone is posting Mac screenshots lately and I hate doing what everyone else is doing :D

Hello there. I just got into the SGI enthusiast community. (I have yet to get any hardware though...) And I noticed that your website was down and I just wanted to say that I hope everything goes well for you. Oh, and if you have any recommendations on how to get started with SGI collecting and actually using the machines for someone with a tight budget and ZERO experience, I'd love to hear them. But yeah, take care.
